'Ten years of outstanding success' advert, 1979

Wakefield Theatre Club celebrated 10 years of star-studded performances in 1979. This full page advert appeared in the theatre magazine Variety.

The advert declares the club 'one of the top night-spots in the world!' It features a montage of many of the stars who graced the club's stage in its first decade.

Among the famous faces are Bruce Forsyth, Jimmy Tarbuck, Tommy Cooper, Rod Hull and Emu, Petula Clark and Gladys Knight and the Pips.
