Wakefield Museums and Castles

This festive design is an iconic piece of merchandise by Wakefield rock band, The Cribs.

The band introduced the design in 2007 as a play on the traditional Christmas jumper.

In December 2007, The Cribs played three shows at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds. They performed a different album in full each night. The special gigs were nicknamed 'Cribsmas'.

The band held a similar three night run in 2017 to mark the 10 year anniversary of Cribsmas. They revived the seasonal sweatshirts for the occasion.
