Trevor Bird: 2 August, 12pm to 2pm

Stories of castles, battles, witches and pits are put to songs that describe the bloodiest stories from God’s own county and beyond.

Trevor delves into the political and industrial local past from the Middle Ages to the recent times. Guitar and vocals from the folk tradition.

Masters of Mellow: 9 August, 12pm to 2pm

Masters of Mellow specialise in music to sing along to, or to just chill to. They perform music driven by high quality musicianship and tight harmony. Enjoy a wide range of material, from the sometimes haunting tunes of Simon and Garfunkel and the finger-picking punch of country music, to the classics of Bob Dylan, Mark Knopfler, James Taylor, Ricky Nelson and Don McLean. There's also a bunch of home-grown numbers. Enjoy a mix of songs which trigger fond memories, or create them.
