From object to artwork (ages 12 to 16)

Workshop times available:

• Wednesday 28 October, 1:30pm to 3pm

Discover art in a whole new dimension! Looking for something creative, hands-on and completely different this autumn?

Use Powertex, fabric and mixed media techniques to create seasonal 3D masterpieces. Be inspired by objects and local stories. Learn how artists use texture, layers and sculpture to tell stories. No experience is needed, just imagination and a willingness to experiment! This workshop is perfect for young people who enjoy art, design, making, creativity and trying new techniques.

This is part of our programme of activities for 12-to-16-year-olds. Accompanying adults are welcome but not essential.

The workshop will take place in the 'Learning Zone', inside Wakefield Library, upper ground floor of Wakefield One.
