In this special store tour you'll get to see original letters and notebooks written by pioneering Victorian environmentalist Charles Waterton

Join our curator John Whitaker for this unique opportunity. 

2026 marks 200 years of Waterton's Wall and the creation of the world's first nature reserve. This event is part of Wallfest '26.

Get exclusive behind-the-scenes access to our Museum Collections Store. Delve into our treasure trove of 110,000 objects. Learn more about the TLC we give our objects to preserve them for generations to come.

These tours are for adults (18+). Free, but booking required as spaces are limited.

Access: Please let us know any access requirements you have when booking.

Information about how to reach the Museum Store will be shared with ticket holders around two weeks before the event date. The Museum Store can both be reached by public transport (bus) and parking is available.
