Lettering and lino printing (ages 12 to 16)

Learn how to design and cut your own lino print. 

Be inspired by letters, symbols and stories from Wakefield’s history. Explore medieval lettering and printing marks to bold modern typography.

Turn simple designs into striking handprinted artwork.

No drawing skills needed – just ideas, and willingness to have a go.   

This is part of our programme of activities for 12-to-16-year-olds. Accompanying adults are welcome but not essential.

The workshop will take place in the 'Learning Zone', inside Wakefield Library, upper ground floor of Wakefield One.
