Join Ilbert the Dragon at Pontefract Castle for a fun afternoon of storytelling and hands-on play. 

Each month help Ilbert and his storyteller bring their books to life. There's music, props and actions.

Then you can get stuck in with activities, crafts, games and rhymes. 

These sessions are a great way to spend time together and discover new ways of learning with your child! 

Wednesday 2 September – Cooking at the castle

Get mixing and making with Ilbert! Create a fun fairytale craft to take home.

Wednesday 7 October - Autumn adventures

Join Ilbert to explore the changes and colours in nature this autumn.

Wednesday 4 November - Bright lights and bonfires

Ilbert is getting all fired up for Bonfire Night! Play with lights and colours.

Wednesday 2 December - Winter magic

Winter is a magical time of year! Join Ilbert for a fun festive theme in the run up to Christmas.
