Home Education: Patchwork Christmas stockings (5+)

Fri 18 December 2026, 10:30am - 12pm

Wakefield Museum

Workshop times:

  • Friday 18 December, 10:30am to 12pm (sold out)

  • Friday 18 December, 1:30pm to 3pm (spaces)

This workshop is for home educated children aged 5+ and their families.

Join us as we take inspiration from the Victorian tradition of finding a new lease of life for old fabrics through patchworking.

In this workshop, we will:

  • Design and make a patchwork-style Christmas stocking to take home

  • Glue or sew pieces of fabric together, or draw patchwork patterns on fabric panels
