This workshop is for home educated children aged 7+ and their families.
Explore the fascinating world of medieval medicine with us!
In this workshop, we will:
Find out what medical treatments were available in the Middle Ages
Discover what the four humours were and medieval beliefs about their relationship to health
Explore surprising medieval medicine recipes
Have-a-go at creating herbal remedies* for imaginary medieval patients
*Please be aware that fresh herbs from the castle garden will be used in this workshop. We will touch and smell the herbs but will not taste them.
