Home Education: George Kellett's WW1 diary (7+)

Workshop times:

  • Friday 13 November, 10:30am to 12pm

  • Friday 13 November, 1:30pm to 3pm

This workshop is for home educated children aged 7+ and their families. 

Join us in this month of remembrance to learn about George Kellett. George was a young soldier from Sandal who kept a diary throughout the last year of the First World War.

In this workshop, we will:

  • Explore the diary pages of George Kellett

  • Learn about his wartime experience through his first-hand accounts

  • Discover facts about his life both before and after his service in WW1
