This workshop is for home educated children aged 10+ and their families.
Get hands-on in a unique experience with our replica medieval bread oven.
In this workshop, we will:
Assist staff with starting the fire
Join in with tending the fire
Bake flatbreads and flapjack for lunch
Please note:
There is a strict minimum age of 10 years for this workshop. We cannot accommodate younger participants or younger siblings. Adults must remain present throughout the session to supervise and assist the participating children in their care.
Only one additional adult per booking will be permitted - this is to allow maximum space for participating children.
This workshop will use gluten-based ingredients. If you are concerned about food allergies or intolerances, please contact us before booking.
This workshop will involve a wood fire and high temperatures. The fire/oven will be tended throughout the workshop by trained staff and children will be closely supervised when interacting with the oven. If you have any concerns about these aspects of the workshop, please contact us before booking.
The majority of the workshop will take place outside. Please come dressed for the weather.
