Heritage for Youth: Fire and food (ages 12-16)

  • Tuesday 28 July, 10:30am to 12 noon

  • Tuesday 28 July, 1:30pm to 3pm

Step back in time to a medieval kitchen. Discover what people ate in an historic castle.

Mix up authentic medieval recipes. Cook them in our replica medieval bread oven, just as castle cooks once did!

Bring history to life through smell, taste and shared experience.

This workshop is designed for teenagers aged 12 to 16. Accompanying adults are welcome, but not essential.

Please let us know of any allergies when booking.

This activity is part of our Heritage for Youth programme. Teenagers can get hands-on with history through interactive workshops.
