This is Ilbert. He is a friendly dragon.
Ilbert lives at Pontefract Castle.
Ilbert and his friends love to play games!
Here is a game that Ilbert likes to play with his friends who work at Pontefract Castle. You can play this with your friends or family too.
A die (this is the word for just one dice)
A piece of paper for each person
A coloured pencil or crayon for each person
Take it in turns to roll the die.
When you roll a six, draw the body. You must start with the body before any other part.
The number you roll on your turn is the next part of your dragon to draw.
The first person to complete rolling and drawing their dragon is the winner!
1 = Draw the head
2 = Draw a wing
3 = Draw the face
4 = Draw an arm or leg
5 = Draw a tail
6 = Draw the body
Ilbert would love to see what your dragon pictures look like. You can share them by uploading them to our 'share your photos' portal.
